IPL 2018 41th Match: KKR vs MI Match Predictions
The Kolkata Knight Riders host the Mumbai Indians on Wednesday, just days after the two teams met on Sunday where the Mumbai Indians came out on top. The Indians have been very impressive over the past week or so, winning three of their last four games and we are now seeing the real Mumbai Indians after a hugely disappointing start to their title defence. The Knight Riders went into the game on Sunday in good form on the back of two victories, but were unable to make it three thanks to some very good cricket by the Indians, so they will be looking for revenge on Wednesday. Who will win 9th May KKR vs MI prediction is placed below.
Mumbai eventually won Sunday’s game by 13 runs, but always looked to be in control with both the bat and ball in what was a promising all round performance. Suryakumar Yadav and Evin Lewis took them to over 90 runs before the opening partnership was broken, giving them a great foundation which they could build on. They did exactly that to reach 181, a good score but the Indians may have been a little disappointed with that after putting themselves in such a good early position. In comparison, the Knight Riders didn’t start off well and found themselves 28/2 in the fourth over. Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana and Dinesh Karthik made a game of it, but they never really looked like catching the Indians.
After the good form shown by the Indians, just two points separate these two teams now, so this is an incredibly important game for them both. As we begin to edge towards the end of the IPL it is important to get yourself in a challenging position, something the Indians can do with a win here. Things are tight at the top and these two will both fancy their chances of qualification, whoever wins this game will get a huge advantage over their opponent with the two points that are on offer. KKR vs MI IPL 2018 Prediction
The Mumbai Indians really struggled at the start of the season but in recent games they have come to life, and look to be in great form. They can carry that form with them, and the big win they had on Sunday and win this game to pull them right into contention for defending their title. The Knight Riders will be desperate for revenge and to pick up and important two points, but I am backing the Mumbai Indians to continue their good form and win this.
