IPL Teams 2020 Squad

IPL Season 13: IPL 2020 Teams and Players List

IPL 13 teams and players list is placed here. The IPL squads for the 2020 edition of the tournament will be announced at the end of the IPL auction later this year or early next year. But the complete IPL 2020 retained, traded and released players list ahead if the IPL auction is placed below.

What could makes things very interesting are the rumours that two more teams could be added to make it 10 sides in the competition and if that happens as it had very early in the history of the Indian Premier League, the auction could be a big one. Because it would mean that teams would have to release most of their players back into the pool – probably will be allowed to retain 4 or 5 players – and then try and re-select them back into the squads. IPL team 2020 player list for all teams is placed below.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians can be expected to be continued to be led by Rohit Sharma, while Virat Kohli will be the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming season as well. The Chennai Super Kings might look to undergo a major overhaul too despite back to back final appearances but MS Dhoni should continue to remain captain of the side while Kane Williamson should continue to lead the Sunrisers Hyderabad team.

The remaining captains are slightly unclear at this stage. Like Kolkata Knight Riders have had Dinesh Karthik as the captain but will he remain skipper? Or Rajasthan Royals had sacked Ajinkya Rahane late last year as skipper and Steven Smith was called upon. Delhi Capitals have Shreyas Iyer but will he continue and will R Ashwin remain Kings XI Punjab captain given the lack of results in recent times as well?

Some of the key young players in the IPL squads to watch out going into the 2020 IPL will be the likes of Navdeep Saini, Shimron Hetmyer, Shivam Dubey, Shubman Gill, Sam Curran, Prithvi Shaw, Rishabh Pant and Jofra Archer among others.

We had a fantastic edition of the 2018 IPL, and the great news for fans is that the 2020 edition is not too far away. Last season of the Indian Premier League was undoubtedly its most exciting edition since the tournament’s conception. Not only a lot of cricket records were broken, but also the fans were kept heavily entertained throughout the season. We had a fantastic tournament last season, which was eventually won by the Mumbai Indians and we expect the same again. IPL team list 2020 is placed above.
