Trinidad and Tobago CLT20 Team 2013
T&T CLT20 Squad - Consistency personified; will bring flair
Trinidad and Tobago clt20 squad 2013 is placed here. Trinidad and Tobago will represent West Indies in the Champions League T20 after they lifted their third Caribbean T20 trophy.
They reached the champions league last season and even though they were deemed as underdogs took the tournament by storm. Led by West Indian wicket keeper Dinesh Ramdin and with a few international stars they could well have a chance of doing well in this year’s tournament. In the inaugural Champions League T20, they finished as runner-ups and also remained unbeaten till the finals.
Many of the big names from their team will miss out playing in this competition as they will be contractually tied down to the Indian Premier League teams that they play for. In spite of that, they will be really threatening. They miss out on two players mainly responsible for West Indies’s victory in World Cup T20 2012: Gayle and Samuels. They however possess almost everything else like Master Card.
They are captained by the largely experienced Ramdin, who is an industrious batsman and decent keeper. They have the services of both Bravo brothers; provided Dwayne picks T&T ahead of CSK. Pollard, who also has to choose between Mumbai and this team, may make an acerbic difference to its fortunes. Lendl Simmons is perfectly capable of changing gears. It is however their bowling that merits appeal. Daren Ganga is an other recognized batsmen in the line-up besides Darren Bravo.
Sunil Narine and Ravi Rampaul will play very important roles for Trinidad and Tobago and are arguably the best bowlers in the country. Sunil Narine has proved more than dynamite in IPL and will be a decisive threat in tandem with Badree. Bravo was the purple cap holder in ipl 6 and Cooper was a clear revelation with his slow bouncers. Pollard can also be a handful with his deft change of pace. They will bring Caribbean flavor to the tournament and are bound to grace one or two matches with delightful hitting. They are a team who may not be the favorites to land the spoils but a unit you won’t wish to cross ways with.
Being the only team from West Indies they will also be entering the tournament with a lot pressure from all the fans which could either work as a motivator or could add to the insurmountable pressure.
In their group they will contest with the Chennai Super Kings, Brisbane Heat and the Titans and one other team that are expected to qualify. CLT20 2013 Trinidad and Tobago squad is placed here.
