1. Most Runs by Batsman So Far.
Suresh Raina played for CSK until last year IPL. This year he captained Gujarat Lions. He scored 4098 runs in 147 matches averaging 33.59. His highest score was 100. Not far behind him is Virat Kohli who has scored 4056 runs in 148 matches. Raina also holds the record for the most catches in IPL career – 82 catches from 147 matches.
2. IPL Highest Wickets by a Bowler So Far.
Lasith Malinga played for MI in all the IPL editions (2009-2015). He took 143 wickets in 98 matches. Right below him is Amit Mishra who has taken 124 wickets of 112 matches.
3. IPL Most Sixes So Far
Chris Gayle who currently plays for RCB has hit 243 sixes in just 91 matches. Right below him is Rohit Sharma who has hit 163 sixes in 142 matches. Chris Gayle also holds the record for the highest score of 175 runs in a single match playing for RCB against PWI. Again he also holds a record for the most number of sixes in a single innings – 17 sixes against PWI in 2013.
4. IPL Most Fours So Far
Gautam Gambhir who currently plays for KKR has hit 422 fours in just 132 matches. Right below him is Suresh Raina who has hit 360 fours in 146 matches. Gambhir also holds the record for the most number of half centuries (31) in IPL alongside David Warner.
5. IPL Most Fours in a Single Innings
AB de Villiers who currently plays for RCB has hit 16 fours against MI in 2015. Former KXIP player Paul Valthaty shares the same record.
6. IPL Highest Partnership by runs So Far
Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers who play currently for RCB scored a partnership of 229 runs against GL in 2016. The second highest partnership was achieved again by the AB and Virat against MI with a partnership of 215 runs.
