The Delhi squad boasts of some really good bowlers and all-rounder. At the auction, the team bought the services of Andre Russel, one of the finest allrounders of West Indies. An all-rounder from New Zealand, Doug Bracewell has also been purchased for the team. Topping the chart is one of its biggest buys, Mahela Jayawardene, the former Sri Lankan Captain. This package is certainly going to give tough competition to the rest. Virender Sehwag, David Warner, Kevin Pietersen, Irfan Pathan and Ross Taylor are among others to watch out for.

Team’s strength and Weakness

After looking at the composition of the Daredevils squad now after the additions through IPL 2012 auctions I am actually compelled to believe that the Daredevils now has what it takes to beat the hell out of the opponents and at least come in the top 4 this time and make their mark in the tournament.

Although I still don’t see depth in the team’s bowling with Morne Morkel and Ajit Agarkar adding little bit to it, overall the squad looks decent and all rounders should make up for the bowling deficit and the team should definitely pull off well to the top 4 and not languish at the bottom like they were during last season.
